Family Skiing At Nub's Nob

When winter travels take you to Michigan, make a point of visiting Nub's Nob Ski Resort. Considered by many to have the best snow in the Midwest, Nub's Nob has earned the distinction of being a family-friendly mountain resort. Many generations of parents have taken their kids to learn to ski at Nub's Nob.
The layout of the mountain is fairly simple with an elevation of 1,338 feet and a vertical drop of 427 feet. There are 43 trails with eight chair lifts. Boasting one of the top skiing and snowboarding schools in the country, both private and group lessons are available.
Those who are new to skiing or relatively inexperienced can take advantage of free ski lessons at Nub's Nob resort. Parents can carefree ski lessons when they enroll their kids at the Nub's Cubs Childcare Center.
Even though Nub's Nob offers beginners programs, don't think that intermediate or expert skiers won't be challenged here as well. The diverse terrain definitely offers challenges, and night skiing is available to bring another challenging level to your experience.
If you're an advanced skier, visit the Ski School at Nub's Nob for training in racing. Advanced and expert skiers can sign up for racing leagues and take part in many seasonal league events.
If you need equipment, you can rent it at the resort. A general store is also available with gloves, hats, neck warmers and a variety of other items. Visit the technology center when you need to have your skis tuned or fixed.
All that skiing can make you hungry, and you have several options to satisfy your cravings. Nub's Nob Cafeteria is open for breakfast and lunch, and anyone bringing their own lunch is welcome to picnic in the 'brown bag' room.
Visit Nub's Winter Garden for grilled burgers, weather permitting. The Pintail Peak Warming Hut, found at the top of the Black Lift, offers homemade soups, sandwiches and breathtaking views.
Nub's Nob is definitely the place to be for a fun family ski vacation. From skiers just starting out, to experts interested in racing and skill events, there is so much to see and do. Your biggest challenge may be deciding what to do first!
The living is easy at Nub's Nob, so don't worry about missing out on the fun. You can ski now and snowboard later, or board now and ski tomorrow. There are lots of activities and flexible schedules, so you can easily arrange your time to take part in your favorite events.
